BUTLER, Mark Brian – 58, of Sandy Point, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Yarmouth Hospital. Born November 27, 1965 he was a son of Gary and Daphne (Wagner) Butler.
Mark was a fisherman all of his life, having his career start aboard the Johnny & Sisters II, which he was proud to call family. He was an avid hunter and loved the wilderness. His proudest moments were of his two sons and not to be forgotten is Mom, his father (Dad) was his best friend who Mark tested to the limits but loved so dearly. He also thought a great deal of golden retriever “Magnum”
He is survived by parents, Gary and Daphne Butler; sons; Tyler (Heather), Johnny, brother, William (Mary), sister, Michelle (Richard), grandchildren; Callie and Grant, nephews; Devan, Tanner and Kobe.
Predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. As per request there will be no service.
Donations in Mark’s memory may be made to the Sandy Point Community Hall, Roseway Hospital Auxiliary Fund or Addiction Services of Nova Scotia.
