The family of Jennifer Hope Morine of Bear River is saddened to announce her passing on August 10, 2025 at the age of 51 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her father Bernie Morine, daughter Maggie, brothers Thomas, Jeremy (Geraldine) and Benjamin, sisters Loralie (Monte) and Kerry; nieces and nephews Montanna, Marlie, Moses, Maryn, Sianna, Breelyn, Dilan and Jude; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother Beverly Morine, love of her life Michael Comeau, grandparents Arthur and Audrey Jefferson; Gordon and Idella Morine.
Jen worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for the last several years; extremely smart and gifted from the earliest years of her life. She had a strong faith in Jesus and found strength in knowing He is the truth, the way and the light.
Jen was humble, loving and kind - always a non-judgmental soul - she could see the good in everyone she met. Jen beat addiction, attended AA and wanted to help others - to her special friends (friends of Bill W): Never give up!
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial Donations may be made in Jennifer’s name to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to any homeless organization of your choice.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Intensive Care Unit 5.2 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary for their care and compassion.
