Smith, Kenneth Reginald (John)

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth John Reginald Smith, 72 years, of Springhill, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in All Saints Hospital, Springhill.  

Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Kenneth R. and Genesta V. (Rector) Smith.

He enjoyed fishing and watching Chicago Blackhawks play hockey.

He is survived by a son Jonathan of Toronto, ON; daughter, Kenda Smith, Lucan, ON;  brothers, Ted (Phyllis), Atwood, ON, Vincent (Jackie), Atwood, ON; sisters, Elease Manley, Springhill, Lavern (Jim) Merritt, Springhill, Loreell Smith, Atwood, Ont. and Sandra 'Sandy' Cox. Springhill; grandchildren, Hannah Nelemans, Libby Nelemans as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Kolby Smith.

Cremation has taken place.  Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, in the spring.
