June 18, 1955 - September 04, 2025
With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Clarence Albert Connors on September 4th, 2025 in Kentville, Nova Scotia. Clarence was a loving husband, father, stepdad, brother, grampy, uncle, and friend.
Born in Halifax on June 18th, 1955 to the late Elizabeth Connors and Albert Dodman, Clarence was raised in Spryfield in his younger years, moving to the Annapolis Valley with his family after the passing of his father when he was young. Clarence spent many years as a volunteer firefighter with the Kentville Fire Department, and spent over 30 years of his career working at Michelin in Waterville. He has enjoyed retirement over the last seven years with his loving partner Karen Randall of Port Williams who he enjoyed over twenty wonderful years with. He loved music, going to dances, watching football, vacationing down South with Karen in the winter, and spending time with his kids and especially his grandkids. He was a creative man who loved tinkering and wood working or tending the yard, often with a project on the go in the shed that he worked on with his music up loud. He will be missed on his morning walks around the town of Kentville, weekly Acadia hockey games, and retiree coffee meet ups.
Clarence was widowed by his second wife and mother of his two youngest children, Kathy. In addition to Karen, Clarence is survived by his eldest daughter Jodie (Kevin); son Corey; daughter Karissa (Jeffrey); step-daughters Natasha (Adam) and Candice (Gilles); grandchildren Chase, Brielle, Esmé, Sylvie, Roza, and Bruce; brothers David (Barb) and Joe (Ann); sisters Debbie (Blair), Barb (Ralph), and Darlene; many wonderful nieces and nephews; and Linda and Allan, godparents to his children.
In addition to his parents and second wife, Clarence is predeceased by his brothers Michael and Robert, and sister Beverley.
Clarence was a kind, patient, and friendly man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
There will be no funeral by request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
