Middle Sackville, NS
February 3, 2024
It is with profound sadness today we announce the passing of my wife Joyce Evabella Evans 67 of Middle Sackville on February 3 2024. at the Halifax Infirmary, after her long battle with congenital heart failure while surrounded by family.
Joyce was born in Sheet Harbour and predeceased by her brother John Tibert, parents John and Ida (Mullins) Tibert.
Survived by her loving Husband Donald Evans, Her two children Tracey Duffy and John Duffy. Joyce is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Samantha Boyce, Tara Duffy, Lilly Duffy, Ella Duffy, Evan Duffy and 3 great grandchildren along with her fur babies.
Sisters Barbara (Lloyd) Pace, Pauline (Gary) Darr, Dorothy Tibert, Audrey (Archie) Campbell.
Joyce was a very loving woman with a very big heart for her fur babies, and family. She always liked to talk about her dreams if she and her husband won the millions and what they would do with it. Joyce was also very compassionate and understanding of everyone around her, she was easy to talk to as she never judged you.
Joyce enjoyed hearing about other people's days and how they were doing. Joyce loved seeing her husband come home from work, as she also loved seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially around the holidays to see their faces when opening gifts.
She loved collecting salt and pepper shakers of all different types. She also enjoyed seeing the photos family would bring her. She enjoyed seeing all the kids dressed up on Halloween while trick or treating and giving them candy.
It greatly saddens our hearts with her passing, we also want to thank everyone for their condolences.
We also want to thank the staff at QE2 for their compassion and care during her time there.
There will be no visitation or service for the passing of Joyce.
