It is with broken hearts, that we announce the passing of our beautiful son Corey, August 1st, 2024.
Corey was born July 30th, 1994, to parents Gordon and Julie Sisco. He is survived by brothers Jeffery (Roxanne) Edmonton, AB., Joey (Lisa) and beautiful Nephew Nathan Ottawa, ON.
His Aunt Jodey which he shared a special bond, Cousins but brother and sisters at heart, Jordon, Jessica, and Kaylee. His dearly loved Uncle Kelly (K.K.) Unckie Roger, crazy Uncle Chuck, (Sandy) and fun-loving Aunt Anne (Bud), as well as his crazy, fun grandmother Betty Bouchie.
Corey also leaves behind his girlfriend Natasha, who stood by him through and through. Which he was forever grateful. Also, several Great Uncles, Aunts and cousins.
Corey was predeceased by his “Nana” Donna Miller. Grandfather Richard Sisco, cousin, Jeremy Sisco.
Corey’s earlier years he was an avid basketball player. Playing for the Coleharbour Rockets, then onto Prince Andrew Panthers. Corey was also quite the charmer with the ladies, love to dance like no one was watching!
His early adult life, Corey struggled with Mental Illness and addiction. He was so much more than his illness.
We would like a special thank you to his Nurse Helen Gaudet, and Dr. Alexidas (Early Psychosis) Abbie Lane. Without your support and loving care, we would not have gotten this far. Thank you!
Finally, the Halifax QEII ICU team, thank you to your team, Corey was able to save lives though Organ Donation.
