Spencer, Kristopher Douglas (Kris)

It is with immeasurable sadness that the family of Kristopher Douglas "Kris" Spencer announce his sudden passing due to undiagnosed diabetes in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on Monday, October 7, 2024 at the age of 37.


Born in Kentville, Kris was the son of Wayne Spencer (Alicia Weatherbee), BettyAnn Buchanan (Graham Swinamer) and Shelley (Raymond) Vaughan.


Everyone that knew Kris knew his love for his fiancé, Alicia, his family and friends, his love of a good Timmies triple triple and his love of driving his truck and motorcycle. Kris enjoyed his employment with Michelin, Waterville, as a production worker and tire builder. He also enjoyed his time with John Curry at Curry Knoll Farm. He had a love for animals, especially his cats, Toothless and Squeakers, and his dog, Daniel.


In addition to his parents, he is deeply missed by his fiancé, Alicia Scott and their son, Zachary Scott; twin sister, Keeli Spencer; sisters, Ashley (Riley) Brown, Saralyn Hiltz (Timmy Lynch), Ronie (Carleton) Brown-Hartt, Lindsay Scott and Misty Marrs; brother, Matthew Spencer (Zoey Hicks); paternal grandmother, Hilda Spencer; Doris Hiltz parents-in-law, Richard and Elizabeth "Joy" Scott; as well as several nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins, extended family and dear friends.


Kris was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Edna Buchanan; paternal grandfather, Ronald Spencer, and his uncle, Matthew Hiltz.


Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Kris’ life is being held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in the Michelin Social Club, 940 Randolph Road, Waterville.

Donations in memory may be made to the SPCA – Kings Shelter or a charity of choice.
