We regret to announce the sudden passing of Elizabeth Ann Storey, a mother and a cherished sister. Elizabeth left this world unexpectedly due to complications from an injury, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, love, and cherished memories.
Born into a big family, Elizabeth was one of four siblings—two brothers and a sister—who shared a lifetime of laughter, adventures, and unwavering support. She was a beloved daughter and a loving mother to her son Jesse and her daughter Madaline. Elizabeth's family meant the world to her.
Elizabeth's adventurous spirit took her across the diverse landscapes of Canada. From the east to the west, she embraced the beauty of this vast country and the communities that welcomed her. During her time out west, Elizabeth and her husband even tried their hands at pig farming—a testament to her willingness to embark on new ventures and experiences.
A true patriot, Elizabeth was a proud supporter of her local Legion, honoring those who served with a deep respect for their sacrifice. She found solace and camaraderie within the Legion community, contributing to its vitality with her unwavering support.
Despite facing a significant injury in the prime of her life, Elizabeth persevered, demonstrating an inspiring determination in trying to be there for her family. Her resilience was a source of strength to those around her and she continued to pour her love into her role as a mother, sister, and friend.
Elizabeth had a passion for classic television, with a particular fondness for the timeless humor of MASH. Her love for the small screen mirrored her appreciation for life's simple pleasures and the enduring power of laughter.
